ABSTRACT

El campo de la radiología ha experimentado avances notables en las últimas décadas, con desarrollos que van desde la mejora de la calidad y digitalización de las imágenes hasta la detección asistida por computadora. Particularmente, la aparición de técnicas de Inteligencia Artificial basadas en Deep Learning y Visión Computacional han promovido soluciones innovadoras en el diagnóstico y el análisis radiológico. Se explora la relevancia de los desarrollos y modelos open source en el progreso de estas técnicas, resaltando el impacto que la colaboración y el acceso abierto han tenido en el avance científico del campo. La investigación tiene un enfoque cualitativo, con alcance descriptivo y retrospectivo, de corte longitudinal. Se realizó un análisis documental de la evolución y el impacto del open source en la Radiología, poniendo de relieve la colaboración multidisciplinar. Se examinaron casos de uso, ventajas, desafíos y consideraciones éticas en relación con la implementación de soluciones basadas en Inteligencia Artificial en Radiología. El enfoque open source ha mostrado ser una influencia positiva en la Radiología, con potencial para influir en la atención médica, ofreciendo soluciones más precisas y accesibles. No obstante, se presentan desafíos éticos y técnicos que requieren atención.


The field of radiology has seen notable advances in recent decades, with developments ranging from image quality improvement and digitization to computer-aided detection. Particularly, the emergence of Artificial Intelligence techniques based on Deep Learning and Computer Vision have promoted innovative solutions in diagnosis and radiological analysis. This article explores the relevance of open source developments and models in the progress of these techniques, highlighting the impact that collaboration and open access have had on the scientific advancement in this field. This research has a qualitative approach, with a descriptive, retrospective, longitudinal scope. A documentary analysis of the evolution and impact of open source in Radiology was carried out, highlighting multidisciplinary collaboration. Use cases, advantages, challenges and ethical considerations were also examined in relation to the implementation of AI-based solutions in Radiology. The Open Source approach has been shown to be a positive influence in Radiology, with the potential to influence medical care, offering more precise and accessible solutions. However, there are ethical and technical challenges that require attention.

ABSTRACT

Introducción: Los procesos establecidos para el procesamiento, análisis y resultado final de las muestras de PCR, así como el control de los suministros médicos, aún se realizan de forma manual, trayendo consigo la introducción del error humano y un elevado tiempo en la entrega de los resultados. Objetivo: Presentar un sistema que automatiza los procesos de análisis, procesamiento y resultado final de las muestras de PCR, además del control de los suministros médicos en los laboratorios y centros de toma de muestras. Métodos: Con la utilización de las tecnologías para el desarrollo de programas y las herramientas de código abierto, se obtuvo un sistema automatizado para analizar y procesar las muestras de PCR. Resultados: Se implementó un sistema que automatiza el procesamiento, análisis y resultado final de las muestras de PCR, control de los suministros médicos en los laboratorios y centros de toma de muestras. Conclusiones: El sistema automatizado elimina los procesos manuales de análisis, procesamiento y resultado final de las muestras de PCR, control de los suministros médicos en los laboratorios, centros de toma de muestras y logra mayor rapidez en la respuesta a los pacientes.


Introduction: The processes established for the processing, analysis and final result of the PCR samples, as well as the control of the medical supplies to perform these, are still carried out manually, bringing with it the introduction of human error; and a high time in the delivery of the results. Objective: To present a system that automates the processes of analysis, processing and final result of PCR samples, in addition to the control of medical supplies in laboratories and sampling centers. Methods: With the use of technologies for the development of programs and open-source tools, an automated system was obtained to analyze and process the PCR samples. Results: A system was implemented that automates the processing, analysis and final result of PCR samples, control of medical supplies in laboratories and sampling centers. Conclusions: The automated system eliminates the manual processes of analysis, processing and final result of PCR samples, control of medical supplies in laboratories, sample collection centers and achieves faster response to patients.

ABSTRACT

Para llevar a cabo proyectos de desarrollo de software y como resultado final obtener un producto de alta calidad, con un bajo costo, un mínimo de esfuerzo y su entrega en tiempo, resultan fundamentales las actividades ejecutadas durante cada fase del proceso de construcción del software, en el que la identificación y elección de la metodología apropiada juegan un papel significativo para el éxito del proyecto. El objetivo del trabajo es proponer una metodología de desarrollo de software en ambiente web, para la gestión de los programas de maestrías del Instituto Pedro Kourí. Para llevar a cabo esta tarea se realizó una revisión sobre las metodologías de desarrollo de software existentes, los principios y fundamentos de las mejores prácticas para las metodologías ágiles y las tradicionales más relevantes en la actualidad, se estableció una comparación entre las metodologías seleccionadas y se propuso la metodología RUP (Rational Unified Process por sus siglas en inglés) para el desarrollo de los procesos de ingeniería de software del sistema web para la gestión de los programas de maestrías del Instituto Pedro Kourí(AU)


To carry out software development projects and as a final result obtain a high-quality product, with a low cost, a minimum of effort and its delivery on time, the activities carried out during each phase of the software construction process are fundamental, in which the identification and choice of the appropriate methodology play a significant role for the success of the project. The objective of the work is to propose a methodology for software development in a web environment, for the management of the master's programs of the Pedro Kourí Institute. To carry out this task, a review is carried out on the existing software development methodologies, the principles and foundations of best practices for agile methodologies and the most relevant traditional ones today, a comparison is established between the selected methodologies and the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology is proposed for the development of the software engineering processes of the web system for the management of the master's programs of the Pedro Kourí Institute(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introducción: La automatización de la información en las instituciones cubanas es una necesidad tecnológica en constante evolución que requiere de un sistema integral de automatización. Objetivo: Implementar un sistema web para la gestión de la información relacionada con los programas de maestrías del Instituto Pedro Kourí. Material y Métodos: Se realizó una investigación aplicada de desarrollo tecnológico y diseño no experimental, descriptivo y de corte transversal; el universo de estudio estuvo formado por 4 especialistas del departamento docente y para la recolección de la información se utilizó la entrevista no estructurada. La metodología de desarrollo de software seleccionada fue Proceso Unificado de Desarrollo y para el modelado del sistema Lenguaje Unificado de Modelado. Las herramientas de desarrollo empleadas fueron: Visual Paradigm for UML 6.4 Enterprise Edition, WampServer 2.0f, MySQL 5.1.30, Zend Studio 5.5.1 y Apache 2.2.11. Resultados y Discusión: Se especificó el modelado de las clases conceptuales y se concibieron los procesos a informatizar. Se realizaron los diagramas de casos de uso del sistema, de secuencia y de clases de diseño. Se automatizó la gestión de información de manera integrada, lo que permitirá obtener y analizar reportes estadísticos y facilitará llevar a cabo un conjunto de acciones encaminadas a mejorar la calidad de los programas de maestrías del instituto. Conclusiones: El Sistema garantizará la automatización de los procesos académicos, beneficiando tanto a alumnos, como a profesores y especialistas del departamento docente de la entidad(AU)


Introduction: The automation of information in Cuban institutions is a constantly evolving technological need that requires a comprehensive automation system. Objective: To implement a web system for the management of information related to the master's programs of the Pedro Kourí"Institute. Material and Methods: An applied research of technological development and non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional design was carried out; the study universe was made up of four specialists from the teaching department and the unstructured interview was used to collect the information. The selected software development methodology was Unified Development Process and the Unified Modeling Language for modeling the system. As development tools: Visual Paradigm for UML 6.4 Enterprise Edition, WampServer 2.0f, MySQL 5.1.30, Zend Studio 5.5.1 and Apache 2.2.11. Results and Discussion: The modeling of the conceptual classes and the processes to be computerized were conceived and specified, as well as the diagrams of use cases of the system, sequence and design classes were made. Information management was automated in an integrated manner, which will allow obtaining and analyzing statistical reports and will facilitate carrying out a set of actions aimed at improving the quality of the institute's master's programs. Conclusions: The System will guarantee the automation of the academic processes, benefiting students, teachers and specialists of the entity's teaching department(AU)

ABSTRACT

Introducción: En la actualidad existen organizaciones que asumen como estructura un modelo de gestión por proyectos. El creciente número de proyectos que se conceptualizan y se desarrollan, genera gran cúmulo de datos. Sin embargo, la insuficiente capacidad de análisis y procesamiento sobre los datos generados, imposibilitan la identificación de información que facilite la toma de decisiones a los principales directivos. Objetivo: La presente investigación propone el desarrollo de un Sistema de recomendación que integra la Sumarización Lingüística de Datos (LDS). Materiales y métodos: En la investigación se destaca la utilización de métodos de la investigación científica empíricos y teóricos; a través del análisis histórico-lógico se revelaron las investigaciones asociadas al uso de LDS para la construcción de explicaciones de las recomendaciones. Se utilizó encuesta para corroborar la satisfacción de los usuarios en cuanto a la síntesis de la información almacenada en el repositorio de datos. Resultados: Las recomendaciones generadas aumentan la posibilidad de que los usuarios interpreten los datos almacenados a partir de la integración con explicaciones constituidas por resúmenes lingüísticos. Conclusiones: El sistema obtenido fue valorado como muy bueno para ser aplicado al problema de toma de decisiones sobre la evaluación de proyectos en centros de desarrollo de software(AU)


Introduction: Currently there are organizations that assume a project management model as a structure. The increasing number of projects that are conceptualized and developed generates a large accumulation of data. However, the insufficient capacity for analysis and processing of the data generated makes it impossible to identify information that facilitates decision-making for the main managers. Objective: This research proposes the development of a recommendation system that integrates the Linguistic Data Summarization (LDS). Materials and methods: The research highlights the use of empirical and theoretical scientific research methods. Through the historical-logical analysis, the investigations associated with the use of LDS for the construction of explanations of the recommendations were revealed. A survey was used to corroborate user satisfaction regarding the synthesis of the information stored in the data repository. Results: The generated recommendations increase the possibility that the users interpret the stored data from the integration with explanations constituted by linguistic summaries. Conclusions: The obtained system was valued as very good to be applied to the decision-making problem on the evaluation of projects in software development centers(AU)

ABSTRACT

SUMMARY: The aim of this exploratory design science research (DSR) study was to design a computer-based teaching simulation tool (CBTST) for training medical imaging (MI) students in chest pattern recognition. A DSR methodology used in the design of the CBTST entailed the following phases: 1) awareness of the problem (proposal design); 2) suggestion; 3) development; 4) evaluation; and 5) conclusion. The CBTST was designed using Microsoft Visual Studio which operates on the Structured Query Language server. The designed CBTST was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and MI educators. The designed CBTST evaluation yielded an average score of 70.1 which exceeded the score of 68 which is generally accepted to indicate that the CBTST has good usability. The CBTST proved to be an authentic tool that is user-friendly and allows communication and feedback between the educator and the students. It is envisaged that the implementation of this tool will enhance the future training of MI students in pattern recognition while contributing immensely to the current development of the use of computer-based simulation.


RESUMEN: El objetivo de este estudio de investigación en ciencias de diseño (DSR) fue desarrollar una herramienta de simulación de enseñanza basada en computadora (CBTST) para capacitar a los estudiantes en el reconocimiento de patrones de tórax a través de la imagenología médica. Una metodología DSR utilizada en el diseño del CBTST implicaba las siguientes fases: 1) conciencia del problema (diseño de la propuesta); 2) sugerencia; 3) desarrollo; 4) evaluación; y 5) conclusión. El CBTST se diseñó con Microsoft Visual Studio, que opera en el servidor de Structured Query Language. El CBTST diseñado se evaluó utilizando la escala de usabilidad del sistema (SUS) y educadores de IM. La evaluación CBTST diseñada arrojó un puntaje promedio de 70,1 que excedió el puntaje de 68 que generalmente se acepta para indicar que el CBTST tiene buena usabilidad. El CBTST demostró ser una herramienta auténtica, fácil de usar y que permite la comunicación y la retroalimentación entre el educador y los estudiantes. Se prevé que la implementación de esta herramienta mejorará la formación futura de los estudiantes de IM en el reconocimiento de patrones y contribuirá de manera importante al desarrollo actual del uso de la simulación basada en computadora.

ABSTRACT

El desarrollo de software para la salud es complejo. Los Requisitos No Funcionales son especialmente importantes en este tipo de sistemas cuyos fallos causan un daño significativo que puede llegar a repercutir en la salud de las personas. Sin embargo, con frecuencia estos requisitos son subestimados debido a que resultan ser más complejos y requieren un mayor nivel de conocimiento y esfuerzo. El presente artículo describe una estrategia de desarrollo de requisitos no funcionales en aplicaciones para la salud, acorde a los requisitos definidos en la norma ISO/IEC 25030 y a los modelos de calidad de producto y procesos ISO/IEC 25010 y CMMI para desarrollo respectivamente. Los principales resultados se relacionan con la definición de acciones, métodos y técnicas que orientan las actividades de desarrollo de estos requisitos cuya puesta en práctica contribuye a mejorar los atributos de calidad de las especificaciones de requisitos de software(AU)


Software development for health is complex. Non-Functional Requirements are especially important in these types of systems whose failures cause significant damage that can reaffect people's health. However, these requirements are often underestimated because they are more complex and require a higher level of knowledge and effort. This article describes a strategy for developing non-functional requirements in health applications, in accordance with the requirements defined in ISO / IEC 25030 and the product quality models and processes ISO / IEC 25010 and CMMI for Development respectively. The main results are the definition of actions, methods and techniques that guide the development activities of these requirements whose implementation contributes to improve the quality attributes of the software requirements specifications(AU)

ABSTRACT

Este artigo constitui o relato da experiência de intervenção, realizada a partir da solicitação de uma ação social na cidade do Rio de Janeiro: o "Vai na Web", programa feito por moradores e ex-moradores de favelas, e que visa ensinar desenvolvimento de software e colocar profissionalmente jovens de duas localidades: o Morro dos Prazeres e o Complexo do Alemão. A ação militar federal que ocorreu na cidade a partir de fevereiro de 2018 apresentou novos desafios para o programa. O método utilizado para a intervenção foi a cartografia esquizoanalítica. A demarcação conceitual utilizada para o início da intervenção foram os estudos em Políticas da Cognição, com o objetivo de compreender os movimentos cognitivos potentes já presentes para, a partir dos mesmos, tecer a ação. Obteve-se a construção de métodos pedagógicos que tivessem como princípio os territórios cognitivos das comunidades onde o projeto está inserido - o que resultou em um aumento do aproveitamento e da penetração no mercado dos egressos do programa. Conclui-se que, apesar da obtenção parcial de resultados satisfatórios no aproveitamento do programa, ainda se faz necessário criar ferramentas para lidar com este quadro em que políticas públicas infligem diretamente e/ou indiretamente na cognição.(AU)


This article is the report of the experience of an intervention, carried out from the request of a social action in the city of Rio de Janeiro: "Vai na Web", a program made by residents and former slum dwellers, aimed at teaching software development and putting young people professionally residents of two locations: the Morro dos Prazeres and the Complexo do Alemão. The federal military intervention that occurred in the city on February 2018 presented new challenges for the program. At the same time, it was noticed the absence of academic papers on the subject, in Psychology. The method sed for the intervention was Cartography, based on Schizoanalysis. The conceptual demarcation that was used for the beginning of the intervention were the studies in Cognition Policies, with the objective of understanding the powerful cognitive movements already present to make the action. The intervention resulted in the construction of pedagogical methods that had as a principle the cognitive territories of the communities where the project is inserted - which resulted in an increase in the use and market penetration of the graduates of the program. It is concluded that, despite the partial achievement of satisfactory results in the use of the program, it is still necessary to create tools to deal with this situation in which political phenomena inflict directly on cognition, collaborating with cognition in its disruptive power and inventive resistance.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Se presenta un informe técnico sobre la aplicación de actividades y técnicas de arquitectura de información (AI) y experiencia de usuario UX) a partir de las buenas prácticas obtenidas en el proceso de desarrollo de software de la Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas. Para ello, se identificaron las definiciones más citadas de AI y su evolución hacia el término de UX, como punto de partida para analizar la estrecha relación que existe entre estos dos conceptos durante el desarrollo de software. El trabajo permite reconocer el rol protagónico del usuario en el resultado de su interacción con el producto y con el proveedor o desarrollador. Se describen actividades y técnicas para la obtención de información y requisitos en las etapas de desarrollo del software, que tributen a una buena arquitectura de información, centrado en la experiencia del usuario.


A technical report on the application of activities and techniques of information architecture (AI) and UX user experience is presented based on the good practices obtained in the software development process of the University of Computer Science. For this, the most cited definitions of AI and their evolution towards the UX term were identified as a starting point to analyze the close relationship between these two concepts during software development. The work allows to recognize the protagonist role of the user in the result of their interaction with the product and the supplier or developer. It describes activities and techniques to obtain information and requirements in the stages of software development, which support good information architecture, focused on the user experience.

This article analyzed the characteristics of data of acupuncture and moxibustion in ancient books, and put forward to a mode of diagnosis and treatments according to acupuncture and moxibustion. A variety of data mining techniques were used to extract, integrate and display the theory, methods, meridians, acupoints and techniques in ancient books to establish a database platform of ancient books based on B/S architecture, which can be used by users. Also, this article described the framework, the function of the module, and the method of realizing each function of the experience platform of acupuncture ancient books, and demonstrated an interface of the results searched by key wordsstroke, and summarized the experience of building this platform and the advantages of the platform in the research and development of data of acupuncture ancient books.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To construct a knowledge platform of acupuncture ancient books based on data mining technology, and to provide retrieval service for users.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>The Oracle 10 g database was applied and JAVA was selected as development language; based on the standard library and ancient books database established by manual entry, a variety of data mining technologies, including word segmentation, speech tagging, dependency analysis, rule extraction, similarity calculation, ambiguity analysis, supervised classification technology were applied to achieve text automatic extraction of ancient books; in the last, through association mining and decision analysis, the comprehensive and intelligent analysis of disease and symptom, meridians, acupoints, rules of acupuncture and moxibustion in acupuncture ancient books were realized, and retrieval service was provided for users through structure of browser/server (B/S).</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>The platform realized full-text retrieval, word frequency analysis and association analysis; when diseases or acupoints were searched, the frequencies of meridian, acupoints (diseases) and techniques were presented from high to low, meanwhile the support degree and confidence coefficient between disease and acupoints (special acupoint), acupoints and acupoints in prescription, disease or acupoints and technique were presented.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>The experience platform of acupuncture ancient books based on data mining technology could be used as a reference for selection of disease, meridian and acupoint in clinical treatment and education of acupuncture and moxibustion.</p>

Objective:The adaptive feedback algorithm was applied to the electro acupuncture system, make the cupping system according to the feedback data in real time to adjust the pulse signal, improve the treatment efficiency and quality.Methods:On the basis of analyzing the overall framework including adaptive system, based on Windows development platform, including design system and adaptive algorithm, system control software.Results: Acusector software system design can be adjusted dynamically according to the electrical data of electric acupuncture signal can realize the function of adaptive feedback, it has higher stability and efficiency.Conclusion: The system automatically changes the electric acupuncture signal waveform, avoiding the happening of adaptive phenomenon, treatment process stability is strong, high efficiency. To be able to upload data to the computer at the same time, convenient and subsequent data analysis, is helpful to the development and popularization of the technology of acupuncture and moxibustion.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To develop a therapeutic drug monitoring software of vancomycin for adult patients to help physician for personalized use of vancomycin. METHODS: A system literature retrieval search was conducted in the PubMed database to collect the population pharmacokinetic studies published before September 2012. A set of therapeutic drug monitoring models for vancomycin was assembled by the models included in the above literatures and the model developed by the authors. Based on the Bayesian principle, a therapeutic drug monitoring software built upon these population pharmacokinetic models was developed with C++ in the integrated development environment (Microsoft Visual Studio 2005). RESULTS: The set of therapeutic drug monitoring models included 14 population pharmacokinetic analyses. The software developed on these pharmacokinetic models could be applied to conduct population, subpopulation and individual predictions, thus help clinician in their individualized treatments. CONCLUSION: This study developed software covers the current reported vancomycin pharmacokinetic model. Clinician can choose the appropriate model according to the actual situation of the patients.

OBJECTIVE To enhance reasonable usage of antibiotics and develop hospital infection management for monitoring,managing and improving of antibiotics clinical administration.METHODS Six Sigma analysis methods were used to identify key points in the quality management process.Based on these points,hospital infection management software was developed and its effects were evaluated using statistical analysis methods.RESULTS In perioperative period of Ⅰ surgical incision,the proportion of prophylactic antibiotics usage decreased significantly.The treatment time of antibiotics within 72 hours perioperative period was significantly shorten after software application.Total amount of antibiotics was significantly declined,dropped by 21.01%;Meanwhile,the administration amount of antibiotics classified in special use decreased,dropped by 21.7%.The microbial distribution,drug resistance and consumption monitoring could be understanded immediately.CONCLUSIONS The software can make us immediately know the dynamic consumption of antibiotics and trends of bacterial resistance in hospital to decrease the irrational use of antibiotics.

ABSTRACT

Objective To develop a software through which transfusion labels can be created and printed automatically based on No.1 Military Medical Project,in order to resolve the problems of time-and-labor-consuming and errors due to transcription. Methods Based on No.1 Military Medical Project,the software of creating and printing transfusion labels was developed using PB computer programming language. Results The software can effectively avoid the errors due to copying transfusion labels by hand and save much time and effort. It optimizes nurses' working procedure. Conclusion The software is very practical for all the hospitals using the No.1 Military Medical Project.

Objective To develop Department-level Cost Accounting System based on No.1 Military Medical Project.Methods Making the full use of programs and data in No.1 Military Medical Project,the software creates department income from the lists of outpatient fee and inpatient fee,and then in combination with the consumable disbursement,equipment depreciation,realty depreciation and maintaining cost etc,the software collects and sums up all income and cost to create cost accounting report forms.Results Department-level Cost Accounting System could automatically create the cost-accounting report forms for hospital management.Conclusion The application of Department-level Cost Accounting System strengthens the management of cost accounting in military hospitals and achieves good effect.

ABSTRACT

Many software systems have been developed concerning the collection and collation of pharmaceutical information data through microcomputers and the initiation of clinical drug-use consulta- tion","clinical anti-biotic drug-use consultation","emergency treatment of drug toxication","consulta- tion on injection compatibility","data control of clinical drug-use monitoring",etc.These systems are charaterized by their large information storage,rapid retrieval,practical use,simple operation and easy control.They highly satixfactory roles in raising the level of rational clinical drug-use.But a unified or- ganization and planning is lacking in the software devdlopment of drug-use consultation.Scattering and overlapping are not uncommon.A lag in the innoration of softwares and in the replenishment of data does dxist.The functions of consultation are many while those of statistical analysis are not enough. Those shortcomings should be gradually overcome.
